Power and Fuel Mileage
All Sentras are powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with a stable output of 149 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the wheels through a CVT, and front-wheel drive comes standard. This sedan gets 40 MPG combined, with 30 MPG around town and 40 MPG on the highway.
The Sentra offers responsive handling even on corners, thanks to the standard multi-link rear suspension, Intelligent Trace Control, and advanced steering system. When driving over bumps, Active Ride Control kicks in and adjusts the brakes and engine power to keep your ride nice and smooth.
Interior Space and Features
The cabin is outfitted with comfortable cloth seats designed with Zero Gravity tech for extra support and comfort on long drives. You’ll get 43.8 inches of legroom up front and 34.9 inches in the rear, enough for everyone to stretch out. Dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a 6-way power driver’s seat are all available.
Seat trims like premium cloth and leatherette are also optional, along with a rear center armrest with two cupholders. You can also get a power sliding-glass moonroof that tilts open to let in fresh air. The Sentra offers 14.3 cubic feet of storage space for groceries and daily essentials. The optional 60/40 split-folding rear seatback can be stowed to create room for extra luggage.
Audio and Connectivity
Up front, there’s an intuitive 7-inch touchscreen display that gives you access to the infotainment system and vehicle settings. With Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, you can link your smartphone to stream your favorite entertainment and get directions from navigation apps. The system supports natural voice recognition, allowing you to give voice commands using Siri Eyes Free or Google Assistant.
A 4.2-inch gauge cluster and a 4-speaker audio system come standard as well. The SV and SR trims upgrade to a larger 8-inch center unit and a 7-inch instrument panel. These models also include two front USB ports and a 6-speaker stereo, with the option to upgrade to an 8-speaker Bose sound system.
Safety Technology
With Safety Shield 360 as standard, you’ll have peace of mind on every drive. This suite offers a forward collision warning system with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection. It also comes with rear automatic braking, blind spot monitoring, and lane departure warning. Rear parking sensors are standard, and a 360-degree monitor is available.
