Futuristic Exterior
The updated Murano sports a future-forward look with sharper sculpting and more streamlined front and rear fascia. Standard LED headlights and 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels in a gloss black finish add a layer of stylish sophistication. Along with dramatic paint finishes like Deep Ocean Blue Metallic and Scarlet Ember Tintcoat, the Murano can be had in unique duo-tone color schemes with its available Super Black roof.
Heated side mirrors are standard on the base SV trim and come with integrated turn signals on the SL and Platinum. Available 21-inch machine-finished wheels give the Murano a more aggressive appearance.
Turbocharged Powertrain
Replacing the last-gen Murano’s V6 powerplant is a 2.0L turbo inline-4 that’s paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and delivers an impressive output of 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The new powertrain promises brisk acceleration and a fuel economy of up to 27 MPG highway. Available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive constantly adjusts torque delivery between both axles, ensuring excellent traction in tricky conditions.
Nimble Chassis and Handling
Thanks to its fully independent suspension, which uses front struts and rear multi-links, the Murano has an easy time carving its way through twisty roads. Front and rear stabilizer bars greatly reduce body roll, plus the vehicle maintains a smooth ride while you’re traveling over bumpy surfaces. Nissan’s Intelligent Trace Control technology is featured on every Murano, improving cornering performance by making subtle braking adjustments.
Spacious, Amenity-Loaded Interior
The Murano’s cabin nicely matches the vehicle’s exterior with an equally ultra-modern design. For example, both the reconfigurable digital instrument display and infotainment touchscreen are housed within the same panel for a clean look. At a respective 44.3 and 36.3 inches, front and rear legroom is generous. The cargo hold behind the 60/40 split-folding rear seats also impresses with nearly 33 cubic feet of space.
A long list of standard creature comforts includes heated front seats, an 8-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support, and plush leatherette upholstery. The top-spec Platinum model boasts semi-aniline leather seats and a massage function for those seated in front. The multimedia system allows users to take advantage of Bluetooth technology and wireless smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
More capable and comfortable than ever, the Murano continues to provide incredible bang for the buck. Get in touch with our team at Mears Nissan in Canton, OH today and let us set you up with a test drive!
